1. Personal information
For the purposes of this policy, “personal information” is any personal or material information about an identifiable individual.
The Site collects the following information:

- Social insurance number

The Site also collects personal information on the user’s income as part of its service offering, namely the following information:

- Pay frequency
- Recent pay stub

The personal information that the Site collects is gathered using forms and through the interactivity established between the user and the Site.

- Information/Promotional offers
Personal information is used to identify the user, to provide appropriate and personalized service, and to comply with legal requirements in terms of consumer protection and micro-lending, more specifically:
- Assess the customer’s financial situation
- Suggest suitable, personalized financial products
- Respond to money loan requests
- Manage the file and the loan with diligence
- Facilitate loan renewal
- Facilitate tracing, if necessary
During a person’s visit to the Site, a feature of the browser software may be used, known as cookies, as well as log files, to collect information anonymously and establish a profile of visitors to the Site.
A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that identifies the browser each time there is a visitor to the Site. Cookies tell us which pages have been visited and by how many people. This helps to personalize information according to individual interests.
The Site collects other information via cookies and log files:

Users don’t have to accept cookies to browse the Site, but if they refuse, they may not be able to use certain functions, such as personalization features.

4. Personal data sharing

5. Access and modification of information
Users have the right to access, modify, correct or delete their personal information.
To correct or update personal information, to request the removal of personal information from the Site’s contact list, or for any other questions concerning the collection and use of personal information, the user should contact the designated person at the following coordinates: firstname.lastname@example.org
When a person communicates by email, the return email address is used to reply to that person. The Site does not use this email address for any purpose other than to respond to the visitor, and under no circumstances is this email address shared with any third party.
The Site will not collect information without authorization. In the event that a request for information is sent by email to the Site, personal information will only be forwarded to employees of the Site who require such information to respond to the request for information, and such personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without valid consent, unless required by law.
The Site is committed to taking all necessary measures to protect personal information stored electronically or on paper.
To this end, the security of personal information is protected by the following mechanisms:

- IDS and Firewall
- Encrypted offsite and onsite backup
- Database system on SSD and SAS up to 400,000 iops
- Unique public IP address
- Monitoring and HDCE GUARD
- Dedicated HA hosting (8 hosts for 1 virtual server)
- Redundant firewall
- Internet links up to 10 GB/s
- DDOS protection
- Restricted and supervised physical and IT access
- Authorization levels for authorized persons
- Inability to copy or transcribe information in batches
However, it should be noted that the Site cannot guarantee that security measures will in all circumstances be able to prevent an ill-intentioned third party from obtaining and taking possession of the information exchanged and stored.
7. Data storage
The Site reserves the right to store personal information provided following the termination of the contractual relationship. The stored personal information continues to be subject to the obligations of this policy.
In this regard, it is the user’s responsibility to contact the Site in order to exercise their rights under subsection 5.

11. Written document
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this site (hereinafter, the “Site”).
This Site is the property of 9429-5011 Québec Inc. and its subsidiaries (hereinafter, the “Company”). It is managed and maintained by the Company and hosted by GoDaddy. At all times, reference to the Site includes the Company.
By using the Site, the user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions stipulated (hereinafter, the “Terms”) as a user. In the event that you do not agree to the Terms, the Site requests that you do not browse or transact on the Site. The Site may modify the Conditions at any time and without notice, and the modified version will take effect as soon as it is published.
This document contains the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the Site, as well as all applications and services offered through transactions made on the Site.
3. User eligibility
The user must have the legal capacity to consent to these Terms and must be a physical person consenting in their own name or a legal entity duly represented by a person in a position and authority to do so, and this, in consideration of the law governing their place of domicile.
Falsifying identity while using the Site will be considered a violation of the Terms of Service. This may result in total, permanent and irrevocable expulsion from the Site, in addition to civil or criminal prosecution.
4. Copyrights and trademarks
The user acknowledges that the information, documents, images, trademarks, products and services and other materials published on the Site (collectively the “Information”), including the presentation and arrangement of such Information on the Site, and all related information, are the exclusive property of the Site. Any use of the Information is prohibited without the prior written consent of the Site. Except in the specific case where the Site grants a person a written license to use the Information, no license or other right, express or implied, is granted to any person.
More specifically, use of the Site does not grant any right, title or interest of any kind whatsoever in or to the Information, including but not limited to logos and other trademarks owned by the Site, which reserves all intellectual property rights related to the Information.
The user acknowledges that the products, services and documents available online, whether free of charge or for a fee, are the exclusive property of the Site, and that downloading these elements, whether free of charge or for a fee, in no way grants the user the right to reproduce, distribute or sell them.
Reproducing, copying, manipulating, or selling the products, services and documents of the Site without the prior written consent of the legal owner of such products, services and documents may result in civil or criminal prosecution.
5. Restrictions on the use of the Information

6. Confidentiality of personal data

7. Data on visitors
With respect to users’ visits to the Site, certain information may be collected that is not personal information, including for example the type of Internet browser used, the computer operating system and the domain name of the website or Internet service provider from which the user arrived at the Site. This visitor/user data may be used to improve the content of the Site and to help determine which features and services are most important to users.
The user of the Site is responsible for any fees resulting from its use, such as, but not limited to data charges or mobile data overages.
9. Accuracy of information
The user assumes full responsibility and risk for the use of the Site. The Site makes and will continue to make reasonable efforts to publish accurate and up-to-date Information.
The Site may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors which may be corrected as deemed necessary by the Site without prior notice. The Site also reserves the right to cancel any order made under the pretext of such an error.
Neither the Site nor any of its employees, directors, officers, administrators, agents or third parties with whom the Site occasionally associates shall be liable for any direct, indirect or incidental damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Site or for any errors or omissions in the Information published on the Site.
In the event that the user is dissatisfied with the Site, the Information or does not agree with the Terms, the only alternative available to the user is not to use the Site.
10. Limited responsibilities
The Site cannot be held responsible for the use of the Site, products and services by users. Consequently, it is the sole responsibility of the user to carefully read all product or service instructions.
The Site shall under no circumstances be held liable for interruptions to services attributable to the characteristics and limitations of the Internet network, particularly in the event of interruptions to access networks, technical performance or response times for consulting the digital content of the Site.
Due to the intrinsic characteristics of the Internet, the Site offers no guarantee against the risks of misappropriation, intrusion, contamination or piracy of data, files and programs. It is the user’s responsibility to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data, files and programs, including guarding against computer viruses.
The Site or any affiliated party shall not be liable for any damages, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including passive negligence), products and services liability, strict liability or other theory, which may result from the use of the Site.
The Site shall not be liable for any material that the user finds offensive, indecent or objectionable. Despite the Site’s best efforts, missing information and errors may occur.
The products and services provided by the Site are available as is and subject to availability only. The Site is not responsible for any loss, direct or indirect, in excess of the price of the products and services purchased.
12. Outbound links
The Site may link to other websites which are beyond the control of the Company and the Site. A link should in no way be considered as a loan from the Site, which can in no way be held responsible for any damage arising from a visit to a page via an outgoing link.
13. Illegal use
It is illegal to use the Site’s products and services for illegal or destructive purposes. This includes attempting to damage, disable, overburden or otherwise impair the Site.
Accessing or attempting to access information made available to the user unintentionally is illegal and may result in civil or criminal prosecution.
14. Applicable law
The Site is operated from the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute that may arise between a user and the Site will therefore be governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec.
15. Written document
The user may keep a copy of this written document to accompany the agreed service contract, by printing it out. It should be added that these general conditions of use of the Site are available at all times on the Site and may be consulted for this purpose.
